New Work, and an Autumnal note...

After a hectic spring of creating new work, and a summer of travel- Seattle in June and Italy in August- I've returned to the studio...photographing and digesting all of those new pieces.

Smaller in size, combining batting, muslin, acrylics, and stitching, the work is a bit of a departure for me, since I've not used anything but stitching since 2002. And, admittedly, I needed a change in the scale of my work; it felt good to hold an entire piece in my hands without compromising my intent.
